“Art is standing with one hand extended into the universe and one hand extended into the world, and letting ourselves be a conduit for passing energy.”
— Albert Einstein
My mom always uses the saying “What’s in a name” - following the idea that an individual’s name may influence their character. I’m not sure how true that is, but I go by Art, and art is all I think about. My love for what I do through “Press Pause” extends past the crafts of photography, and filmmaking. The connections I’ve made and the interactions I’ve shared through my work have built many special experiences that I will forever cherish. I have been dedicated to the arts for more than six years and don’t have any intention of stopping.
I believe that more than the final images we upload and the canvas prints we may hang neatly on our walls lies something much deeper - the process. The conversations that lead to us meeting; the drive to our destination; the jokes we share between the shutter closing; these are all far more important than the final images that we’ll ultimately produce. Those photos are but a reminder of how beautiful it can be to be alive.
So, let’s take some pictures.
